When I work on other peoples’ Macs who don’t have BetterSnapTool installed, I think, “How can people live like this?” It’s immensely useful if you have a workflow that requires having lots of windows open and can’t stand the mess and disorganization of dragging windows back and forth.
The feature that I find most helpful is the ability to have preset window sizes resize with keystrokes. I use command+shift+option+ the four arrow keys to resize to left half, right half, bottom half, and full screen. I also use love that I have ability to set functionaltiy of the green, yellow, and red window buttons using secondary clicks.
I find the snap areas feature less useful. And I wish that the app worked better with adobe products, which don’t seem to resize.
