Causes windows to jump around randomly when dragging (not touching edges), doesnt restore sizes properly (inconsistant), constantly makes things full screen with single clicks (when you want to click to focus or click to drag). Would be a great tool otherwise. Buggy on osx 10.9 and into 10.10

Bettersnaptool is a great application and works well ...when it works.Sometimes ,however, it stops working ,won’t open and I/you must restart the computer to reactivate. This appears to be a bug and creates a bit of a nuisance but at least your previous settings remain intact after restart. That has been my experience after only having it for less than a week now.Since I had to pay for it, I would hope that the powers that be would look into this issue ,with the application ,and find a remedy or update and send it out to us.

It’s a worthwile app if you’ve ever used Windows 7/Windows 8 window snapping feature and want said feature on your mac. It is light on resources and allows window snapping.

I’m extremely impressed by this app. Easy to use and works like a charm. Must recommended for anyone who misses this functionality from a windows pc.

Great software for most purposes. However, it cannot resize windows properly in Wavemetrics Igor PRO V6.3. Whats worse, it also causes mouse selections in Igor text windows to freeze up briefly when selecting by click-and-hold. No effect at all on Adobe Illustrator CS6.

This was the only thing I missed from windows, happy to have it back!

Great App.. should add the functionality of resizing grids like Divvy.

I have tried ALL the windows AEROSNAP copycats, and this one is by far the best! Cinch and Divvy don’t hold a candle to this beautiful program. So many intelligent options and the functionality is extremely smooth, fast, and satisfying. A billion stars.

I often have multiple terminal windows, a browser, and an IDE open while coding. Having a quick way to align everything is priceless. If a PM/Client wants to see my current work, I can quickly re-arrange my windows for a side-by-side or whatever I need at the time. For the price of a coffee, this app is very much worth it.

If you are using multiple displays or even a single large display, this makes your life sooooooo nice since resizing is simply almost drag and forget. Well worth your money for sure!

I love my mac; I also like Windows 7 and enjoy using the snap feature when I want to transfer or compare data between two windows etc. This affordable little app adds the snap functionality to osx app windows, and it does it without a problem. Ive had one incident where the app seemed to freeze; other than that, it has worked great. Edit: 4 years after buying my mac, this app continues to run in the background automatically and work perfect. Can’t imagine having to manually resize every window—it’s the only feature I would miss in windows.

I felt like a review was necessary. For under the price of a startbucks drink, I’ve added so much convenience to my multitasking that I’m angry at myself I didn’t get this app earlier.

I also never write reviews but have been using this program for the past 4 years and I am re-installing my OS and definitely uploading this again!

All i can say is fantastic tool love it, would recommend it 100%. A must have for muti view users.

Very helpful tool for someone who just switched from Windows and used keyboard shortcuts to snap your apps left or right. Very easy to use and great customization. Thank you very much to the dev, you definitely deserve the purchase.

Much better control than the similar feature that Apple has added to the latest version of OS X (10.11 El Capitan) Great program.
